Pe4u up in the hills - just spent a geat weekend up in the Lakes rediscovering my hill climbing legs - as well as drinking several of the Lakes best ales in Buttermere
Had a great night in the Bridge Inn - good food and beer - and really liked the Syke's Farm Campsite - wild camping with a toliet block! - love the rocky outcrops - Andy had us up a bit too early - we then drove over the Honister Pass into Rosthwaite and parked in the NT carpark - luckily I had my members card with me and started aa very steep ascent
Andy and Matt preparing for a 10 hour challenge walk in April - so we managed to squeeze in some 7 hours of walking mainly around Derwent water
Heres me and Andy on top of High Spy just up from Derwent Water - still a good deal of snow and ice ontop which made for some good ascents
